Richard Bruges

With over 30 years experience in product, market and business development, Richard has dedicated the last decade to supporting clean engineering inventors and helping them to get to market and into production.

Richard is a natural collaborator who sits on multiple industry bodies including the Automotive Council Technology Group and the Advanced Propulsion Centre Advisory Group.

Richard also has a knack for prescience. In 2010 he wrote a paper titled ‘Electric 2020’ predicting that EVs would become mainstream.  In 2011 he founded Productiv and in 2014 established The Proving Factory, both with the objective of delivering profitable engineering solutions to the climate crisis.

Richard holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Edinburgh University and a London Business School Executive MBA.

Antony Cockle

Tony is a high impact advisor and director with 30 years’ experience across a range of industry sectors.


Previously an accredited provider for Grant Thornton and the UK Government’s ‘Growth Accelerator’ programme, advising pre-selected SMEs on operational and commercial strategies to help accelerate performance and fiscal growth.


In recent years he has worked as a non-executive and commercial director in a variety of start-ups and SMEs. Specifically, his background provides the board with expertise in commercial negotiations, all aspects of market development, as well as operational leadership.


Tony holds an MSc in Organisational Development from the University of Sussex and is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
